I just did not like this book. I found it slow moving and somewhat dark at the beginning. It improved as we finally got some character development late in the book. Not for me.

Although I found it hard to get into, once I embraced her way of weaving her story it was a journey to travel with her as she shared lessons about love, about growing up and about the places she went to do both. Fabulous summer read.

A GREAT book about a Doctors journey dealing with the onset of AIDS living in a smalltown. Once again Picoult sucked me into her world and made me think deep and hard about issues I thought I had made my mind up about. I am thankful that I'm able to reflect on her works as much as I am. I identify as a conservative Christian, yet this book made me re-consider and do some soul searching.
I think Picoult should be proud of a well written and well thought out story and creation.

For anyone who loved 'Eat Pray Love' and are looking for a similar adventure that will sweep you away, this is the book for you. I thouroughly enjoyed travelling the globe through the eyes and stories of these girls.
Although initially I found it hard to keep straight which author was writing which chapter (I had to continually remind myself) and to keep their stories straight, its a great summer read.
