Hollywood remake of the 2011 French-Canadian film Starbuck, inspired by a true story per NYT's article:

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this film. Opens your eyes to the world of our human search for significance within family. Clever and entertaining, as well as thought provoking.

I read the comments and expected to hate the movie but I was pleasantly surprised after watching it. Described in one word, I'd say the movie is "endearing'. It's clever in a quaint way. It's a movie you might watch on Father's Day as…

Don't waste your time on this Hollywood copy of an original French Canadian Film. The real movie is called "Starbuck". Unfortunately, American's do not like subtitles so they took a wonderful independent film and butchered it with a…

Rated 4/10. This would have been a much better movie if it had been set up as a serious drama, not a half-baked comedy. It could have made for a very interesting show, as the plot had an intriguing premise. Then, the casting should have…

Very nice movie, I found at parts it was extremely well written and it was always entertaining.. Nothing overly mind blowing but imho it is more than a movie worth watching, very well done

A few good laughs. Worth watching, but not a family flick.

It was an interesting movie. I thought it was going to be a comedy the whole way through. It took a serious turn. And also makes you think from both sides - the donator - wants his privacy and the childs - who want to know who. And then my…

I expected an origin script from Vince Vaughn. This is the equivalent to Starbuck. The exact same movie, just with a different cast and no subtitles needed.

I saw the French version of this movie called Starbuck. Vince Vaughn did a good job with this touching movie. It was much better than I expected. Takes a while to get into it, but worth the watch.

Not a bad one time watch. I found it more serious when I was expecting more laughs from Vince Vaughn
--**SPOILER ALERT**-- Better movie than I thought it would be. Turned out to be very sweet and had me in tears at the end (happy tears, so don't worry). Basically, main character works for his family's meat packing company as the delivery…
