I liked it. And I thinks it a kind of black humor. Don't take it seriously. Ringing phone during classic concert - it is so familiar and sad... But the best point is the soundtrack.

A thriller that takes way too long to thrill the audience. And the plot is weak. Passable.

I enjoyed it. It was a pretty neat thriller. Elijah Wood plays Tom with his trademark wide-eyed style of acting. The constant look of fear on his face made this film work. . Actually the whole situation was impossible.... I man.. while…

This movie is not about classical music. The movie did talk a little bit about grand piano and classical music. But, very superficial. This movie is a suspense. The script is not impressive. The ending is very bad. The acting is…

Totally agree with the person who said this movie is not for anyone with any knowledge of or appreciation for classical music.

Suspension of disbelief people! it is a movie, make believe. It was an entertaining 90 minutes. it is a beautiful film, not a musical (there are some flaws, like in any movie).

One of the silliest movies I have ever watched - except I couldn't bear to watch the whole thing. The idea that a celebrated pianist would a) be all alone in his dressing room and backstage during a major concert; b) be using printed music…

If you have ANY sense of classical music, this is to be avoided at all costs. Couldn't watch it to the end, the implausibilities being so idiotic.

Very lame story here. Trying to recreate the phone both movie but on a grand piano. Gave up after 45 minutes. Everything about this movie is stupid. Skip it.

Interesting and unusual story concept, unfortunately didn't quite deliver. The premise that the pianist could perform while the antagonist 'whispers' in the pianist's ear throughout the concert was unrealistic and to the viewer, annoying.

An awful piece of mish-mash...the bad guy spits out so much dialogue...no wonder the "poor suffering angst-ridden artist" can't play the music...why the hell would anybody want to? Ferrante and Teicher...and Van Cliburn where are you…

Surprisingly entertaining. Elijah Wood does a good job as the tormented pianist. Semi-clever plot, but a semi-predictable ending.

Nice music, but try the alternative ending...

Surprisingly excellent! Personally, I cant enjoy @ 70% of the CRAP that the major Hollywood studios produce, but 90% of America sucks it up. Thinking mans film. Thrilling saga of a Gifted pianist battling his former failure and…

Could have been a great movie, the idea was interesting but poor directing and poor acting...

Very, very bad.

Incredulous plot from the start of the concert. about 25 minutes into the film. Even the music was abominated by all the chattering between the pianist and his antagonist.

Bit of fun, this. Elijah Wood plays a concert pianist with debilitating stage fright who is returning to the stage. Written in red on his score are the words "play one wrong note and you die." We spend the length of the concert watching…
