This is nothing more than more MK ULTRA BRAINWASHING for black people worldwide to continue to be the COWARDS that are in real life right now and have always been since the historical slavery days all the way to these modern day slavery days in 2014 and beyond for black people only period.Shame on you too Naomie Harris for bleaching your skin like Erica Hubbard did period.Better than the ''Winnie Mandela'' hack of a movie by DEFAULT only,Idris Alba's good acting skills on display here cannot save this movie that is really hiding the real TRUTH about his real actual life from his childhood all the way to his death in real life. This is always the case and will always be the case as long as HOLLYWOOD,not honorable black people, are the makers of black films about black people period,BUT I DIGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although the movie was over two hours long, the content felt compressed. I also felt that Idris Elba was not right for the role. The story of Nelson Mandela and the struggle against apartheid in South Africa is a great one, and I felt it could have been done better.

Long, but gives a good overall view of Mandela's life. Not as entertaining as biopics like Ghandi or Michael Collins, but you get the essence of the man and his vision. I'm also presuming the historical facts are mostly correct. Idris Elba was great, as usual.

I love Mandela but the movie was tedious, with very few scenes of real drama. They could have done so much more with the material that it was a real disappointment.

Brilliant performance by Idris Elba. Great cinematography. It will make you think about how valuable democracy is. Worth seeing.

It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained and interesting. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the price to rent from a Red Box. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.

Intense movie, shows the violence and racism in Africa and Nelson Mandella's struggle to get rid of it. Enjoyed the movie, historical movie from the recent past.

I enjoyed this movie and was surprised to find only middling reviews in the press. Idris and Naomie were very good as Nelson and Winnie.

Along came God with Love. Nelson Mandela caught hold of it because it was no ordinary love but extraordinary-for all to witness! This movie surely depicts this well!
