The idea behind this--revealing the mixed emotions so many parents experience as their children leave home for college--was a good one, but I think the mother comes across as just too neurotic to relate to positively. The script needed more work--not so much with dialogue as characterization.

I totally enjoyed this movie - these people are at a crossroads - they took the long way home.

Awful movie. Talented actors wasted. Totally unbelievable characters.

I loved this movie! But people under the age of 40 will not like this movie. They will find it boring, and have nothing in common with the two parents, or understand what they are going through.

Complete waste of talent. Did not enjoy this movie at all. All just annoying characters and I can't imagine anyone behaving like the character Edith especially.

I like the actors but I hate to say that I found the story to be somewhat mediocre.
