From the Old Testament "The Bible" mini series comes "Son of God" The gospel rolls right off the pages from the Bible onto the big screen which I give this movie a 4 star rating!

I thought the movie was awesome
and It made me realize that Jesus did not want people to say that He was the King of Jews....He wanted to be humble and for people to be set free from their sin and to look to God and not people

The gospel part of "The Bible" mini-series, but I suspect that some deleted scenes were added back for this feature. Unfortunately, while Morgado's portrayal is gentle, there isn't much power in either preformance or the plotting they chose.

Not Biblically correct. Plus they made Jesus look cute. BAD MOVE!

Characters are very one dimensional and does not really reflected the facts (how difficult is it to research Jesus from only one source, the Bible?).

I watched this movie and thought it was extremely poor in what it portrayed. I believe if a person is going to do a movie about Jesus, they should research the Bible.
For those who don't read the Bible of course you're going to find it well done and interesting, but if you read the Bible you will notice one flaw after another.
Jesus was never crucified, he was impaled. Greek word, stauros is an upright stake or pole.
"Christ by purchase released us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse instead of us, because it is written, "Accursed is every man hanged upon a stake." Galatians 3:13
The movie was everywhere, scriptures were thrown around and many of the apostles looked extremely bitter and angry.
I didn't know that Jehovah God's son who was a perfect man was so fragile in the way he spoke and behaved. People forget this man had authority not the way he's always depicted.

Beautifully written and performed. I love the song at the end credits "Mary, Did You Know?" written by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene, performed by CeeLo Green. The words to this song are right on target. This is a must see for everyone.
