Events › Celebration of Black Excellence and Drums

Oakland based Hip Hop artist Jahi, from Microphone Mechanics, will present contributions African Americans and Africans have made on the world though various known and unknown inventions. Drum making and rhythmic expression will accompany this session with a focus on building legacy. Jahi, who has a 20 year career in Hip Hop and in education believes that music, history and community brings people together.
