Description

These Walls Speak (TWS) directed by Carla Wojczuk examines the politics of place, community resistance, counter-history, and expression of identity through the early community mural arts movement in San Francisco's Mission District. Carla Wojczuk, film maker, will answer questions after the screening about the film/film-making experience, and Anabelle Bolanos will share her experience as a Nicaraguan that lived the period of turmoil discussed in the film and what Balmy alley represents to her as an artist.
