Events › STEAM Team! Engineering - Design a Car

Our STEAM Team! series takes place once a month with a new theme based on science, technology, engineering, art, or mathematics. The series is designed for 2nd - 5th graders and space is limited to 20 participants each month. Register for the event to guarantee your slot. Walk-ins will be welcomed based on availability.

Put on your engineering hat and discover how to make your very own vehicle made entirely out of upcycled materials. We will learn how to build a simple chassis and a straw-based axle system, then we will explore friction, gravity, and momentum as we test our unique creations!
