Description

Expert Spotlight: Join us for a STEM challenge in the library where we'll stream a live zoom session with The Flying Classroom. This expedition is designed around creating solutions and is an engineering-focused, immersive learning experience. During Captain Irving’s Wild Bird Sanctuary expedition, you will take a virtual tour of the Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center, learn about owls, and how this center is an incredible safe haven for birds. Best for Elementary students to Middle schoolers.

An alternate drop-in activity will also be offered during our regular Power Up Afternoons time.

We have activities available for kindergarten through high school students, every day after school. For more information, check out our blog post on Power Up Afternoons.
