Events › Celebrating Nguzo Saba All Year Long

Thandiwe Jennifer Lyons will discuss the meaning and history of the Nguzo Saba, the celebration of Kwanzaa, which contains 7 principles that should be practiced all year long.

Attendees will create a paper instrument and will have the opportunity to play their instruments and dance. Thandiwe will also bring other instruments that attendees can play. Attendees will have the chance to admire African textiles and use them as head wraps, body wraps and more, while dancing to African music.
