Events › Books and Bikes at the Library: Bike Rodeo

In partnership with Redwood City Together, the North Fair Oaks Library is excited to celebrate our first annual Books and Bikes event! Join us for a full day of activities! Community partners will provide resource tables all day, so come and visit us to learn about the amazing nutrition and educational resources available in North Fair Oaks!

We are especially excited to feature a bike rodeo. Kids can build skills and confidence by participating in the Safe Moves City experience, designed to simulate the diverse traffic environments in a large city and create problem-solving experiences for every age group. A bike rodeo is an effective, fun, and age-appropriate way for children to learn bike and pedestrian safety. Children are encouraged to bring their own bikes and helmets, however; loaners will be also available on site.
