Learn about visual literacy and the tools you can use to create a depth of emotions in your comics. We'll go over how to draw a variety of facial expressions, speech bubbles, panel compositions, and sound effects to help tell a compelling story. This workshop is for kids and teens (ages 7 and older).
Mai K. Nguyen is a local comics maker, illustrator, and ice-cream enthusiast. She is the author of Pilu of the Woods and the upcoming Anzu and the Realm of Darkness (May 2024), as well as the two self-published short stories Coral and the King and Little Ghost.
