Gem Painting at the Library!

12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Pacifica Sanchez

Description

Gem Painting is taking the crafting world by storm. It’s the perfect mixture of paint-by-numbers and mosaic art, without the paint! Instead, tiny gems make a beautiful pattern and sparkle in the light.

Gem Painting is a recurring series that invites creative makers to gather together in the same place at the same time every week. If you are interested in participating, be sure to register for the series, attend the first date, and then drop in on the dates that work for your schedule so you can work on your masterpiece.

Participants are not required to attend every session, but we will only accept new participants monthly. As this project aims to gather creative makers in the community, each participant's gem painting materials will be labeled and held at the library until the month is complete.

Check the schedule below for when we will provide canvases to new participants and when we will only allow pre-existing participants to drop in.

  • Oct 1 -- 12:30-1:30 -- Canvases available for new participants
  • Oct 8 -- 12:30-1:30 -- Drop in for pre-existing participant
  • Oct 15 -- 12:30-1:30 -- Drop in for pre-existing participants
  • Oct 22 -- 12:30-1:30 -- Drop in for pre-existing participants
  • Oct 29 -- 12:30-1:30 -- Drop in for pre-existing participants

This is a fun and relaxing activity that’s good for mental health and wellness. Come give it a try and socialize with your fellow community members
