Gem Painting at the Library!

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Millbrae

Description

Gem Painting is taking the crafting world by storm. It’s the perfect mixture of paint-by-numbers and mosaic art, without the paint! Instead, tiny gems make a beautiful pattern and sparkle in the light.

Gem Painting is a recurring series that invites creative makers to gather together in the same place at the same time every week. If you are interested in participating, be sure to register for the series, attend the first date, and then drop in on the dates that work for your schedule so you can work on your masterpiece.

Participants are not required to attend every session, but we will only be accepting new participants on a monthly basis. As this project aims to gather creative makers in the community, each participant's gem painting materials will be labeled and held at the library until the month is complete.

Check the schedule below for when we will provide canvases to new participants and when we will only allow pre-existing participants to drop in.

  • June 5th -- Canvases available for new participants
  • June 12th-- Drop in for pre-existing participants
  • June 19th -- Library Closed
  • June 26th- Drop in for pre-existing participants, can take home canvas

This fun and relaxing activity is good for mental health and wellness. Come give it a try and socialize with your fellow community members.
