Join San Francisco–based author Isaac Fellman for a captivating and powerful talk about his new novel, Notes From a Regicide, to discover the imaginative worldbuilding and real experiences behind its twists and turns.
This in-person event will take place at the San Mateo County Pride Celebration in the Central Recreation Center at Central Park on Saturday, June 14, at 1:30 PM, co-hosted by San Mateo County Libraries and San Mateo County Pride Initiative.
In Notes From a Regicide, a trans family saga set in a far-off, familiar future, Isaac Fellman goes beyond the concept of found family to examine how deeply we can be healed and hurt by those we choose to love.
Notes From a Regicide is a heartbreaking story of trans self-discovery with a rich relatability and a science-fictional twist from an award-winning author and archivist.
Isaac Fellman is the author of Dead Collections, The Two Doctors Górski, as well as The Breath of the Sun (published under his previous name), which won the 2018 Lambda Literary Award for queer science fiction, fantasy, and horror. He is an archivist at the Digital Transgender Archive. His new book, Notes From a Regicide, was released in April 2025.
No registration is necessary for this event, and copies of Notes From a Regicide will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
