What We Remember is a multicultural play that is semi-autobiographical and follows Adán, who hails from Mexico, and Doy, who is from Thailand, as they navigate and explore the world around them. Despite their different cultural backgrounds, they discover that their souls are brothers, highlighting a shared humanity. The play delves into themes of identity, language, and memory, showcasing the intersectionality found in everyone. The play is multi-lingual, seamlessly incorporating English, Spanish, and Thai. It also integrates the traditional Thai art of shadow puppetry, as well as multimedia and music. Designed for youth ages 10 and up.
