Gem Painting is taking the crafting world by storm. It’s the perfect mixture of paint-by-numbers and mosaic art, without the paint! Instead, tiny gems make a beautiful pattern and sparkle in the light.

Gem Painting is a recurring series that invites creative makers to gather in the same place on a regular basis. If you are interested in participating, attend the first Friday of the month where canvases will be provided, and then drop in on the dates that work for your schedule so you can work on your masterpiece.

Participants are not required to attend every session, but we will only be accepting new participants on a monthly basis. As this project aims to gather creative makers in the community, each participant's gem painting materials will be labeled and held at the library until the month is complete.

Check the schedule below for when we will provide canvases to new participants and when we will only allow returning participants to drop in.

• November 7, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM -- Canvases available for new participants
• November 8, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM -- Drop in for pre-existing participants. New canvases will not be available at this session.
• November 21, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM -- Drop in for pre-existing participants. New canvases will not be available at this session.
• November 22, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM -- Drop in for pre-existing participants. New canvases will not be available at this session.

This is a fun and relaxing activity that’s good for mental health and wellness. Come give it a try and socialize with your fellow community members. This program is for adults and seniors only
