Events › California Native Irises

Winter is the time to divide native iris plants. UC Master Gardeners will demonstrate how to divide the California native iris plants. The first part of the demonstration will be taking place inside the San Carlos Library, with a brief overview of the native irises. This will be followed by a hands-on demonstration, on the patio or in the garden, of dividing a large iris clump. There will be free divisions for everyone. The divisions can be planted directly in the garden now or in containers.
