Spring Continuing Guided Autobiography

10:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Description

In these ever-changing times, does your own story call for your attention? Are you ready to write about your memorable, humorous, and even heartbreaking episodes this spring?

Our virtual Continuing Guided Autobiography sessions invite you to enjoy new prompts, inspirational in-class writing exercises, and small group breakout sessions to share your work! As we create a community of writers, your presence and participation at each session is important. These sessions are especially for those who have completed the Beginning Guided Autobiography sessions or for those with experience sharing your writing aloud and providing feedback. Materials and prompts will be sent only to members who regularly attend. Sign up to save your place!

Spring 2026 Continuing GAB runs from January 30, 2026 to May 8, 2026: January 30, February 13 & 27, March 13 & 27, April 10 & 24, May 8.

For those who haven't participated in Guided Autobiography, keep an eye out for our next Beginning series at smcl.org/events or email varden@smcl.org to be added to the mailing list.

Liz Dossa (www.tellingyourstory.net) is a certified Guided Autobiography instructor who has led sessions at San Mateo County Libraries and Mercy Center in Burlingame.
