Please join the Atherton Library and the Atherton Garden Guild for a Valentine floral arrangement demonstration. Valentine's Day is a day where we remember loved ones and friends with flowers. Arranging lovely flowers is a wonderful way to tell someone how much they mean to us. From a single rose to an elaborate bouquet, let's explore the options. 

Join Floral designers Joan Sanders and Suellen Rottiers. 

Joan Sanders started the floral design program at Filoli, and she has been a flower arranger for almost 50 years. She studied under the legendary floral designer Ron and Morgan and the well-known Peninsula floral teacher, Virginia Farwell. 

Suellen Rottiers graduated form Filoli's Floral Design Program and was a Filoli house flower arranger for 18 years. She studied Ikebana for six years with Nancy Locke and presented at the de Young Bouquets to Art. Suellen is one of the floral arrangers at Gamble Garden House.
