This introductory course provides an overview of leading conversational AI tools, including ChatGPT, Bing AI, Google's Bard, and Anthropic's Claude. Students will gain hands-on experience interacting with these systems and learn how they are revolutionizing fields from content creation to customer service.

Over the duration of the course, students will:

· Learn how to create an account with various AI platforms

· Understand the underlying technology powering conversational AI

· Learn techniques for properly prompting ChatGPT, Bard and Claude to get optimal responses

· Evaluate the strengths and limitations of these tools

· Explore current and future applications of conversational AI

Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities, students will develop core competencies in conversing with AI systems and leveraging them for a variety of purposes, including general learning, practical tasks, document/image creation, and more. Class will encourage group discussions to enable an exchange of techniques and experiences.

By the end of the course, students will have access to all AI platforms and will acquire specialized skills in prompting conversational AI agents and applying their capabilities to solve problems and enhance productivity. Whether you want to utilize these technologies professionally or just explore their possibilities, this course will provide a solid foundation in the current state of AI assistants and where they are headed.

Please note: If you are planning on creating an account for any of the tools we will be using in the class, you will need to have access to your email, so please ensure you have your email passwords ready for verification. Additionally, you may need to verify your account via text message, so please ensure your cell phone is available during the class. If you would like to use your own computer or phone/tablet, you will need access to your passwords and email accounts, including Google and Apple (if you plan to download the app on your phone or tablet).

The class is limited to the first 10 students.
