If you have a son, you have to read this book. It never fails to make me cry. I always buy a copy for expectant mothers. It traces the life of a boy and his mother from the son's birth to the mother's old age.
'Love You Forever' by Robert Munch is a popular children's book about love, and the circle of life and death. A mother's love for her son continues as he goes through the stages of life. Every night his mother sings her song to him while…
This touching book by Robert Munsch is one of my favourites, to this day. It is so heart-warming, and beautiful for so many people. My mom would read it to me when I was little, and not once did she get through it without tearing up. It is…

This is my favourite Robert Munsch book of all time. I used to read it to my children, trying my best to get through it without breaking down. Beautifully written, it resonates with all, the unconditional love we hold for those closest…

Despite laudable sentiment, but I've always found the part where the mother crawls across the floor instead of tiptoeing to peer at her child slightly creepy in the same sort of way that Justin Bieber YouTube parody song "If I was your…

The early parts of this book are sweet, but the mother sneaking into her adult son's house across town is just creepy. Not my favourite book.

disturbing story with even creepier illustrations. Runaway Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown portrays a mother's (parent's) love much more subtly and beautifully. Or Guess How Much I Love You is a similar message and great illustrations.

Kind of dark for a kids book and not real parent friendly. I wouldn't read this one to my kid.
The book is a positive experience for a child reading this book due to the book implying eternal love from mother to son. The book is an easy read, predictable, rhymes, and has a lullaby within it. The book is an easy read due to the…

Awwww... isn’t that so cute? Until years later mommy climbs through baby's window in the middle of the night... But baby is no longer a baby, but a grown man—yet, she holds him in her lap like a baby!!! Yikes! (Watch the 1st posted…
