If you enjoy a scary book with a twist, count on Koontz!

How do you stop an unstoppable evil is the foreboding, often depressing theme. A sick monstrous serial killer mind pervades the novel. A lot of tension, not always the enjoyable kind. Also read the novella. It's like an intriguing, compact…

Rented the audio book from the library and had to return it without finishing listening. Either I have outgrown scary type books - or I simply didn't want to think about the idea of what the night knows.

This was frightening and gory - The suspense was intensified because of the children but the ending was a let down. Regardless, I enjoyed the suspense and the style of writing

This is probably one of my least favorite Koontz novels . The story itself has an enjoyable plot (if you like his regular gruesome murders and suspense), but I found myself getting annoyed with a few of the characters-mainly the children.…

This is the second Dean Koontz novel I've ever read, with the first one being "Relentless"—which I enjoyed for a one-time read. "What The Night Knows" has several similarities, but its differences are even greater, particularly in the…

It starts off like Silence of the Lambs, and ends up like Paranormal Activity.

Koontz has done it again, I loved the characters he created with the entire family. Koontz is a master storyteller and has quickly become one of my favorite authors.

Koontz is one of my favourite authors, and I always eagerly anticipate his next masterpiece. Although a lot of Koontz fans were disappointed with this one, I really enjoyed it.

I much prefer his Odd Thomas and golden retriever stories. This one just plodded along with dread and then resolved itself. No joyous mystery.

Dean Koontz is one of my favorite authors and I think this book doesn't disappoint. Looking forward to another Odd Thomas.

He's back.... This is like one of the old Dean Koontz books from years ago that scares the bejesus out of you. It's like a roller coaster ride that is so scarey but you can't wait to do it again. WARNING: This is not beditme reading!!

I was disappointed with this novel. No twists, surprises or anything that set it aside from other ghost hauntings. I almost didn't finish reading it but kept going hoping that something would happen.

I found myself rooting out loud for the protaganist (s) in "What the Night Knows". This Koontz book is a good metaphor for how the power of how our inner thought lives can influence what types of things we invite into our material lives.…

Koontz opens old wounds for a homicide detective investigating the massacre of a family.
