I agree that the Parker series is best read in order. The characters develop over the series. The change of location to England for the book was a great way to view the characters in a different venue. Great read!

Lots to like with a bit of foreign intrigue to offer Spenser and Hawk a change of pace. Parker is at his best in Boston in his backyard but this is a nice little tale. For those new to Parker it is strongly recommended that you read his offerings in the order published.
