Baker & Taylor
Coppola paints a chilling portrait of a Sicilian family's rise and fall from power in America, and the passage of rites from father to son. He masterfully balances the story between family life and the ugly business of crime in which they are engaged.

Baker
& Taylor

The complete saga of the Mafia Corleone family, from Don Corleone's childhood in Sicily, his son Michael Corleone's rise to power and finally the struggle to succeed him. Contains, as originally released, the 3 Godfather films.

I saw the Godfather in the theater one afternoon and went back to see it again that same night eons ago. Since, I read the books, bought Video Cassettes, DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. Today, I still have the BRs somewhere, selling for less than $12 each at Amazon. Think I have opined succinctly, at least with my pocket book.

"The Godfather" Numbers one and two are considered to rank in the top 10 All Time Classic Movies. "The Godfather" number three is a good movie that does not rate as highly as the first two. Francis Ford Coppola wrote the screenplay and directed the movie. It was he who picked Marlon Brando for the title role. Many in Hollywood thought Brando was past his prime as an actor. It took a brilliant director to pick not only Brando but an entire cast that were all spell binding. "The Godfather" is a movie your not going to forget. It is a masterpiece of film work on every level. That includes the screenplay, the soundtrack, the cinematography, and of course the wonderful casts in all three movies. If per chance you have never seen the "Godfather" than you have missed one of our all time greatest flics!

The Godfather is a Five Star Movie by every movie critic I ever read. We are talking about 3 movies though, and Number 1 is the best of the bunch. I don't believe there is a better mob movie than Godfather1 !Many of the best characters are already dead by Godfather 2, such as Sonny played by James Caan. You can find someone who may quibble about a thing or two, but for my money, The Godfather Collection is Top Ten Movie Collection of All Time!

The first movie is amazing, the second is incredible, and the third is just a waste of time! Highly recommend the first two, don't bother with the third.

The godfather of all mafioso-style movies/tv series!

The actors ... classic. The activing superb. The scenes in Italy were beautiful.

I have watched the collection countless times. I put it back on Hold so that we can have a Godfather theme weekend!
