This woman did what ever it took to save her family and lost them anyway.

A good story of the hard facts of life for the poor of England/UK. The poor were thrown into prison on the word of a gentleman/rich man just because they could make an accusation, and destroy a poor persons life. The poor prisoners were sent to Australia in a badly planned scheme to empty prison while populating their new colony. Poor women were sexually assaulted constantly, and had almost no rights. You have to admire their ability to survive these harsh conditions. Unlike that fake reality show Survivor, these people were the real deal.

Loosely based on fact, this film shows the cruelty of 18th century Cornwall when a starving girl is sent to Botany Bay on a rat infested ship for stealing a picnic hamper.
But that's just the start of the wildest adventure you have ever seen.
