one of the great movies of it's time truly a masterpiece. i senn this movie back in 2017 and it was amazing. truly was a breath of fresh air. if you watch this movie now or anytime it's still
25 years ahead of it's time. my grandfather told me about that movie back in 2017 amazing.

One of Don Bluth's later classics that's worthy of that moniker! The "what-if" story in the movie (for those who've heard the real tragic history of what was the culmination of the Bolshevik revolution) is a great one with a slightly better outcome (at least for the heroine, here). I love the music (which you can get streaming, here): my favorite songs are "At the Beginning" and "Once Upon a December." Wonderful! It does get you really wondering "What if ...?"

The protagonist Anastasia, part of the royal family gets separated from her grandmother from the evil Rasputin when she was young, and 10 years later she has forgotten her memories. She goes on a journey to find out who she is with the help of Dimitri and Vladimir. Anastasia is a pretty cool movie. The movie looks like it’s been done Disney since it has great animation, a princess, a romance storyline, and of course, musicals. But it’s not actually made by Disney. The thing I like best about it is how well the animation is done, since I really appreciate good animation. I also like the chemistry between Anastasia and Dimitri, they were funny, they don’t get along in the beginning of the story, but they slowly get more comfortable with each other. Overall I think it’s a decent movie, a little cliche but still ok. That’s all folks. Rating: 3.5/5. @eggcelentitious of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

I watched this without any knowledge of what the movie would be about and I was pleasantly surprised. I love the animation and the songs and... well pretty much everything about this wonderful movie. John Cusack and Meg Ryan were great in the title roles. I love watching this over and over. Romantic, funny, and surprisingly not a Disney movie. Disney could take a few lessons from this film.

I love the music and the story of this lost daughter of the last Russian czar. Because I loved this Disney movie so much, I've gone on to read more about the myth and legend of Anastasia and it's quite facinating, including the story of Anna Anderson who claimed to be Anastasia until her dying day.

I love the music in this movie.

If you loved this movie as much as I did, you definitely had a crush on Dimitri AND Anastasia, and you ALWAYS danced to "Dancing Bears." Oh, and Rasputin was ridiculous and you wanted his bat as your pet, because he was sassy and everything you ever needed in your life.

I'm a little biased towards this one.

I Love this movie, I used to watch it all the time as a kid until my mom took it away from me. I love the music, as much as the historical evidence is off its still a great movie. I know all the songs too, love the bat.

It's not my favorite, but I really thought it was an interesting movie. At first it's kind of weird when Rasputin sells his soul and stuff, but otherwise it is very touching.
