I watched this without any knowledge of what the movie would be about and I was pleasantly surprised. I love the animation and the songs and... well pretty much everything about this wonderful movie. John Cusack and Meg Ryan were great in the title roles. I love watching this over and over. Romantic, funny, and surprisingly not a Disney movie. Disney could take a few lessons from this film.

I love the music and the story of this lost daughter of the last Russian czar. Because I loved this Disney movie so much, I've gone on to read more about the myth and legend of Anastasia and it's quite facinating, including the story of Anna Anderson who claimed to be Anastasia until her dying day.

If you loved this movie as much as I did, you definitely had a crush on Dimitri AND Anastasia, and you ALWAYS danced to "Dancing Bears." Oh, and Rasputin was ridiculous and you wanted his bat as your pet, because he was sassy and everything you ever needed in your life.

I'm a little biased towards this one.

I Love this movie, I used to watch it all the time as a kid until my mom took it away from me. I love the music, as much as the historical evidence is off its still a great movie. I know all the songs too, love the bat.

It's not my favorite, but I really thought it was an interesting movie. At first it's kind of weird when Rasputin sells his soul and stuff, but otherwise it is very touching.

I will admit, when I first watched it, I found this movie REALLY weird. Like, complete wacko. But, as I read the actual history of Anastasia, I came to understand why the movie did certain things that it did (like Rasputin being a creepy skeleton of a man who sold his soul for magical powers). And although this movie is in no way historically accurate (not in the SLIGHTEST) and it is definitely not one of my favorite animated movies, I will admit, it is an interesting non-Disney ride with a great story and even greater characters (specifically Anastasia and Dimitri).

This isn't a cheap Disney knock-off. It's an EXPENSVE Disney knock-off. Actually, it's not bad at all. Its best song is the villain's song, "Dark of the Night." The others are okay, but just that.

This movie is the best, watch it when ever I am bored, it makes me laugh.
