Wife was interested in seeing this film, so I agreed to give it a shot. Pleasant surprise. So much I did not know about this multi-faceted man of diverse experience and numerous accomplishments.

He liberated women from the tyranny of constantly changing trends in hair fashion, which at the time meant curlers, teasing and lots of hair spraying. He created styles that used the natural beauty of a person's hair. Even though I am not in this field, I found his persistence and discipline very inspiring and was particularly impressed with the way he talked with clients to assure them as they fretted about not looking like everyone else. Good film!
