This one was recommended to me by a childhood friend. He didn't really give me much detail, but just asked if I had read it on one of my "motivational/ inspirational" quote posts that I try to share. It had been checked out at the library for a few weeks, but once it became available I grabbed it up. It was a super quick read (maybe because it is actually supposed to be for "tweens"), but I really enjoyed it. I thought the author hit the nail on the head with all of the characters (and human nature). In the end goodness wins and it was a great reminder to be KIND! I saw the book has since been made into a movie (and also has some follow up books as well). Not sure I'll watch the film, but I think this is a great book for anyone to pick up! I would give it a 9 out of 10.

This is probably the best book in the whole intire world.I think if you are a person who loves to read grade 3's should start reading this.Once i read this book i shared it with my teacher then she read it to the whole entire class everyone was so intrested and i decided to read Auggie And me i loved it so much tooo.i think even if you are not old enougn to read this book a adult should read it to you.this is now my favourite book but also my favourite author. I dont know but everyone in their life should get a chance to read this book . I recommend it to everybody.i am 9 years old here and i still loved it i read it all by my self. If you are a teacher reading this i think you should read this to your class. This is for everyone and not just some people. Their should be a rule about reading this once in your life time that is how much i love this book. I cant wait for the movie based on this story to come out.~Bonnie~

"Let's face it, the universe was not kind to Auggie Pullman." -- Miranda

And still Auggie was able to face the world -- not always an easy thing for him, but he carries it out with intelligence and humor.

The movie is due out in November.
