Add a CommentOK, if you like sloppy writing. I mean really - the protagonist/narrator lost both his wife AND his aunt to pancreatic cancer AND one of the suspects is dying is of pancreatic cancer as well!!??
Every noise the bleeping cat makes is mentioned - yet not a peep as to how the 50 year old narrator managed to be a teenage father while completing whatever the heck degree you need to become a librarian.
I thought the author left a lot of questions unanswered at the end, but fun to read if you're a librarian or a cat lover.
