This comedic drama stars Melanie Lynskey, Christopher Abbott, Blythe Danner, and John Rubenstein. Amy is recently divorced, so she decides to move back in with her parents until she can get back on her feet. While staying with them, she beings an affair with a nineteen year old man that sweeps her off of her feet. She knows it can’t last, but she is enjoying the inbetween. I found this movie really quaint and revealing for how many people must feel after getting divorced. The chemistry between the actors was alright, but what I liked the most was the writing. I would rate this movie 3.5/5 stars. @The_Reviewer of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

I had a hard time watching this movie because it was a bad copy, however it kept my interest. Added bonus is that the main character was Rose from Two and a Half Men.

The acting was good but the script had far too many rom-com cliches in it.

Thanks jing2000, for your tip about "nice catchy tunes" and the title coming from Animal Crackers--that sparked my interest. Sometimes a so-so movie is well worth it if you enjoy the music, n'est-ce pas?

A lighthearted comedy about a recent young divorcee retreated to her parent's home to recover from the ordeal and founded new meanings of life after a raw fling with a young actor who had troubles of his own. Nice catchy tunes including --Hello, I Must Be Going--- a song from the Marx Brothers' 1930 film Animal Crackers.

The characters talk about a meaningful relationship despite their age difference, and yet all they do is make out like a couple of rabbits. A silly waste of time.

I really didn't mind this movie. And the fact that she was 30ish and he was 19 didn't factor in for me at least because they were both looking for the same thing and were both on the same age level mentally. So age wasn't a factor really. It's about being lost, your life is going on way, then throws you for a complete loop and how do you come out of it a better person. Plus Christopher is a cutie and I would have totally made out with him too :)

Watch "Hope Floats" or "How Stella Got her groove back". I had to turn it off after 1/2 hour. Who really wants to see a 30 something with a 19 year old boy?
