Ron and Veronica's romance falls apart as the duo anchors a weekend broadcast at a New York-based network in 1980. Ron is fired for being the worst anchor anyone has ever seen and so he leaves Veronica rather than live in her shadow. So he re-creates himself at a CNN-type network in the eighties and accidentally invents the soul-sucking brand of non-news that now rules cable as he tries to win back Veronica's love.

Horrible movie not funny at all. This crap movie is a real waste of time and life! It seems like a 8 year old wrote it. I can't believe these actors and actress did a crap movie like this. I bet this bad movie really helped their careers a lot! I can't believe some of these morons below have rated this crap of a movie 3 and 4 stars they must be the fools in the movie or worked for this crap movie!

The first movie was not great and this sequel, unfortunately, was a missed opportunity to better Ron Burgundy’s story.

ONE OF THE WORST MOVIES EVER BY WILL FERRELL! Hard to believe that a second movie was made. I watched 6 minutes and realized I had seen it on TV once and couldn't watch it through then, so I just returned it and wished the SPL had gotten it as a donation and not spent money on it.

Funny but dated. Will Ferrell does his best, but Ron Burgundy was a one trick pony in my opinion. Steve Carell steals some scenes with his over the top antics. Kristen Wiig trys hard to keep up but seems to just be following Carell's lead. Paul Rudd does some good to great acting as usual and the rest of the cast rounds out well. Also some great, unexpected and interesting cameos in the film. Good movie, but not great. Worth it for a night at home with nothing else to do, but not a party or date night movie.

This Movie is Funny. It can be seen even if you did not see the First one "Anchorman". " Steve Carell" as "Brick" gets more Lines in this one and also gets a little more action(good for Him,in my opinion!).

Not one of those people who frequently watches Hollywood comedy blockbusters, I viewed this one despite a coworker warning me not to. I enjoyed it. Will Ferrell is a cut above the average clown. The first half of the film is particularly good; it captures the late 70s vibe when Hippie sensibilities coexisted briefly with a renascent consumerism: shag cuts and Angel Flight suits. There are a number of laugh out loud moments, like the face off between between Jack Lime and Ron Burgundy where Lime challenges Burgundy to be a man and defecate while standing up. The second half tails off considerably with the blindness storyline. But all in all well worth the two-hour viewing time.

These days anything you can think so can be turned into a movie. This movie was horrible, even though, I love Will Ferrel. I felt like a bunch of morons yelling at the camera.
