When the US Navy SEALs were created at the impetus of President John F. Kennedy, it was as a special ops force to aid pro-democracy insurgents, in fighting against dictators around the world, not in what they later became, a force to help overthrow democratically-elected presidents, and after their hitches to work for dictators as their paid henchmen, or join up with disreputable PMCs. The final low point was when four SEALs, friends of that sniper fellow, who falsely testified against Jessie Ventura, who sued that sniper fellow who libeled him with a complete fiction [Ventura won the court case because the witnesses who testified on his behalf weren't connected to him and could prove they were at that bar that night in question, while the four SEALs were friends of the sniper fellow and could not prove they were at the very same bar!] Something is really rotten in SEAL-land. [Still consider Carlos Hathcock as America's best sniper!]
