Extremely informative, but can be hard to read to a group. Lots of info, but also doesn't have a great "flow". Partly because there is so much to read in so many places on the pages. Great to read with child one on one though.

A beautiful and informative book about Posada's life and art. Not just for kids.

A great story about the Mexican artist who created many popular skeleton images. The book does a great job of covering a lot of topics in a short amount of text, all while providing lots of space for great illustrations. The instructions for printing processes are short and easy to understand, and could easily be extended into art projects for kids.

This was a really wonderful book. My six year old read it about a dozen times when we checked it out and it made our craft projects for Day of the Dead much more thoughtful and meaningful. I didn't know much about Posada before we read it and was glad to learn about this important Mexican artist whose work I had seen so much but whose name I hadn't ever really heard.
