This is a really compelling and an eye opener film. Its showing that sugar is even more addictive than heroin! After watching this film, both me and my husband have given up sugar. I just wish that the presentation and sound was better. For example: when the protagonist is explaining something, there is too much loud music in the background which is distracting and makes it difficult to focus on the real message.
Other than that, it is a good film. I appreciate the actor on the experiment which he did on himself to make his point.

This is a must watch. not only informative but entertaining as well.
Eye opener, especially, the boy with only 26 teeth and where the fat came on the belly

The subject is important, but found the presentation "busy" and distracting.

Brilliant and shocking, this is a morbidly fascinating look at what modern food is doing to us.

This is an entertaining, informative and visually compelling movie. Highly recommended. Scene with the dentist and teenager whose mouth is full of rotted teeth is far more horrifying than any scary movie can ever conjure. Most revelatory moment was to learn that calories are not equal and if the sugar is expunged from products on store shelves the store would be 80 percent empty. Food for thought.

Brilliantly presented piece of work by Damon Gameau, exposing the multi-billion dollar incentives for the mega-corporations to continuously hammer the poisons down our gullets in the name of The Almighty -- Profit...

This film goes into "healthy" processed foods in a similar way to Super-Size Me. Entertaining and interesting.
Who knew (some) smoothies were so bad for you!

Extremely informative and genuinely entertaining in its presentation, I loved THAT SUGAR FILM. I learned a great deal about how unhealthy the average healthy diet is, packed with hidden sugars. I learned more about the bliss point and how sugar is used to make everything "palatable" and how our brains go loopy and the sheer quantities of the stuff! I also learned that fat is not a four-letter word if you're consuming the right kinds and that sugar is linked to liver problems, which goes against my original preconceptions about fat being the culprit for bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels. I decided to take a step in the right direction and cut out the stuff, curbing it by reading those nutritional facts and filling my body with whole fruits. We don't need the tsunami effect of sugar on our brains. We need to live. I highly recommend THAT SUGAR FILM for absolutely everyone, no exceptions.
