This TV series about British gangsters in the post-World War I era, has received popular and critical praise. It is now in its fifth year. It offers a great cast, a well-written story, a some very violent scenes.

The LVCCLD, for whatever reason, has available only Seasons 1 and 2. Why is this? Are Seasons 3 and 4 not available for acquisition by our otherwise excellent procurement staff?

Did the library district decide by itself that the series was too violent for its adult viewers? Did it decide that it is healthier for its viewers to watch Tarantino's extra-violent Inglorious Basterds, or the destructive machinations of the Furious Five gang members, the innumerable movies of Marvel Superheroes inflicting all sorts of destructive mayhem, rather than give us the ultra-violent Peaky Blinders?

Who makes these bizarre decisions as to what sort of violence we should be watching? I'll take the Blinders, if you please.

Could someone at the library inform its patrons what is going on?

Thank you.

Terrific series - but incomplete. Seasons 1 and 2 were gripping.
Where are seasons 3,4,5?

Tough. Gritty. An engrossing production of the dark side of Birmingham after the first world war.

Great series. Soundtrack, cast, setting -- cool stuff. Clever season finale, too. On to Season Three. FIVE STARS.
