Nothing to do with the Van Helsing movie except for the title. Some of the most despicable and dumb characters in any series. When are the producers going to produce a series with characters that you can relate to instead of wishing they would die off FAST. Watched the whole thing and it does not get better. Poorly scripted story line. Main character does not have any real special power except one and she does not use it. Not recommended for audiences of any age. Gave it one star for the one star of the movie Kelly Overton.

Loved the "Van Helsing 2004" film and intrigued by the premise of this spin-off. However, ejected the disk after the first two episodes as mysteries and characters continued to pile up as fillers to prolong and build up interest for another never-ending series. Disclosure: did the same with "The Walking Dead" after watched the first few episodes. Understand that S2 is in the works, so it must be good for zombie/vampire fans.
