This whimsical light fantasy book takes place in a beautiful French village. Emmaline tackles grief and loss with the support for helpful friends. This book can be dark at times, but it handles themes of friendship, grief, and family in a hopeful way. This is a fun read if you like steampunk and inventor stories.
