Very disappointing. This movie served to reinforce the teaching of the culture of death that says that a person is not of value unless he can walk, talk and be productive. The movie missed the opportunity for the father to stand up against his family and say that his son's life is of value even if he can't do anything. It was a missed opportunity for a family and the medical community to show compassion to a person who could no longer do something for himself and the grace and goodness that can flow from that. It was hard to watch the boy brought into surgery to have his still beating heart removed. I watched the rest of the movie, hoping someone would understand the evil they had done, but it didn't happen. I was disappointed that Pure Flix would make a movie supporting the values of the culture of death. From the womb to the tomb, every life is precious from the moment of conception until natural death. The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away ... (Job 1:21).

Good faith based movie. Over the years the acting and the production of these types have gotten so much better. Someone below said something like, "it is predictable." Well, yeah, it is a faith-based movie. I think we all know how a faith-based movie will end so it is predictable. It has a couple of faces from "regular" movies and TV shows and a few from other faith-based movies also. We enjoyed it.

I thought this was a great movie. I had tears in my eyes several times. Good story, I do recommend.

ARP4947 made some good points about people taking responsibility for their choices or for not acting when they should have. But ours is not a perfect world. This movie was made to portray the power of forgiveness and reconciliation through Jesus Christ, when people mess up their lives.

Very good inspirational family movie with good cast and storyline and a lesson to be learned. It's even nice to see "Tootie" (Kim Fields-"Facts of Life") actin again.

If you're a student of the Bible you know GOD, doesn't take a life. He is the giver of life. He has given us all free will to choose to do good or bad, and we currently live under the curse of Adam, which is why we grow old and die, until God establishes his Kingdom on earth. The movie would have been better if the people took ownership of their own selfish chooses. Dad/Pastor choosing not to pick up his son as promised. The mom not taking her daughter's phone when she had prior knowledge that her daugter was texting and driving, then the father that over extended himself and constantly pushed his daughter who he didn't even notice was ill. Storyline is predictable, don't waste your time.

Excellent storyline and acting. Goes to show how quickly life can be altered. Great reminders to us all about texting and driving as well as grief. Incredible movie about forgiveness and turning towards God for strength. This was an emotional movie but the script was so well written in addition to an excellent cast.

Excellent movie with good storyline. A must view for those with teenagers who feel they can text and drive. Good portrayal of the stages of grief and the struggle maintaining your faith through tragedy until you arrive at forgiveness.
