Such an incredible movie, especially because it’s true. The acting isn’t perfect but it’s clean and a good movie for children. Displays the amazing power of prayer and a God who so loves us.

Too slow and the acting was really bad, especially the Father. This actor clearly isn't a father or a dog owner. He seems nervous when he says his lines. Reminds me of a hallmark movie, but those at least or more interesting. Half way through we were going to turn it off. We love dogs, but the kids were bored by this movie.
The dog is the best part for sure. Very cute pup.

Not believable - seemed quite embellished. Didn't really feel the bond between the dog & family either. Pass on this and watch "Marley & Me" instead.

The film was interesting only because the people, the stray and the events were purportedly true. Advertised to be based on the director Mitch Davis’s own experience, with home movie clips rolling during the credits at the end. However, there were those too common challenges in raising young children in single-income families, and the divine intervention of the “shocking” event was again only inspiring if true, at least felt true and less resembled a fabulist’s tall tale. You decide.

Probably a good movie for 3rd graders on a weekend night. Way too sloshy for 2 mature adults.
