People hating on this movie? It's got Ben Afflecks, Jen Garners, Colin Farrells, and big Michael Clarke Duncan (the MCD!). You kidding? But seriously, I'd title this review, "Well, it may not be good, but it's not that bad." After the success of the first "X-Men" and "Spider-Man," studios rushed to make comic movies, many of which were quite bad: "Fantastic Four," "Punisher," "Spider-Man 3," "Elektra." Aside from miscasting, "Daredevil" is just formulaic. Michael Clarke Duncan is underused as Kingpin, as is Jon Favreau as Matt Murdock's law partner. Colin Farrell overacts as Bullseye (he's like super good at throwing things), but at least he's trying. Perhaps the biggest offense is all the terrible Nu Metal on the soundtrack (Nickelback, Fuel, Evanescence). Somehow they made an "Elektra" spin-off. In summary, as long as there's a "Catwoman," you can't really call another movie the worst comic book movie ever. The recent Netflix series has done an excellent job of redeeming the character and purging the memory of Beniffer "Daredevil."
