As a stand alone book, this was a pretty good story. I loved the action, and I loved seeing Wen deal with her past. However, I just didn't really feel like this book was necessary to the series. This is actually really weird to me because normally I don't want the series to end, and I just wish for it to keep going. I may have to rethink that next time because this was just weird. In the previous four books, the war started and ended, and all the main characters had had their stories told. This seemed like it should have been a small related novella or something. Anyways, the book isn't bad, but I just didn't really feel it's purpose either. I would not recommend anyone to read this book after the first four.
