A great concept, but if you want a green kitchen, you really do have to consider reducing or eliminating meat. The techniques are great for the new cook, and many basic recipes are detailed, including how to boil and egg, how to fry an egg and how to scramble an egg. Technique matters! I think there are better books that address cooking technique.
