I've seen quite a few were wolf movies and only a few are in my collection. Such as "The Howling", "American WereWolf In London", the collection of 'The WolfMan" staring Lon Chaney Jr. and of course "The UnderWorld" movies. The " The Howling" is considered one of my favorites because of the way the werewolves look and the special effects were very cool back then. The werewolves in this movie reminded me of "The Howling." They stood up, they were big, and vicious looking. However, i don't think i could watch this more than once on my HOMETHEATER! I just wasn't feeling this movie and neither was my friend. Throughout half of the movie she kept saying "how could that woman be alone in the woods with those werewolves all around her?" "why didn't she just drive away?" Before the movie was over, she knew what was going on. The audio was decent. I would consider it "all around sound" even though there was plenty of gun fire and the sounds of the were wolves howling, growling, and banging on vehicles and the house trying to get the soldiers. I really did like the way the werewolves looked so i'm giving this monster movie 3 and half stars. For good looking werewolves, a decent story, and decent audio effects. Barbeque rib tips with home made fries, barbeque pork skins and Hawiian Punch.
