Jun 28, 2018TEENREVIEWCREW rated this title 3 out of 5 stars
This dramatic fantasy film is about a man who enters a deep depression and begins to question his faith until he spends a weekend away and is visited by a group of strangers who help him uncover the secrets of life. In my opinion, this is the kind of movie that you can only really truly enjoy if you have had a similar spiritual experience or have struggled with severe emotional distress before. The performances were very well done, however, the storyline seemed tailored towards a very specific audience. I would rate this movie 3/5 stars and recommend it to those seeking a spiritual awakening. @The_Reviewer of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board The shack is directed by Stuart Hazeldine and is PG-13.
