Super charming romantic comedy about two Indian-American teenagers. I loved Rishi, and I appreciated how complex Dimple was. The story was modern, cute, and insightful--my favorite part was learning how Dimple and Rishi felt both within and without American culture and Indian culture, and the possibility of finding a sense of belonging in each other. Their struggles may not be universal but they were totally relatable. I had a few minor squabbles (the talent show seemed weird, and parts of the relationship felt rushed), but I still enthusiastically recommend it.
